Introduction
St. Peter’s Out of School Club operates as part of the St. Peter’s School Family offering wraparound care for learners aged 3 – 11. Wraparound care is available every day in term time from 7.45am in the morning, until 5.45pm in the evening.
The setting operates a play-based, child-led curriculum and as such offers a range of fun and engaging activities, crafts and sports each day.
The setting benefits from a large hall space within the school’s dining room, with access to extensive outdoor facilities including a garden and forest school area, as well as large indoor play spaces.
The provision very much mirrors the values and ethos of the school, utilising every opportunity to open doors for our children through learning, faith and care. The OOSC provides a happy and safe place for learners to have fun together, trying new things and learning new skills.
Snacks
In morning sessions children are offered a breakfast choice of toast and cereal, along with water, juice and milk available throughout the session.
In afternoon sessions an after-school snack of toast or fruit is offered to all children before they begin their activities.
