Special Educational Needs

Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust is committed to leaving a lasting legacy for all in its care. The Trust strives to provide the best experiences for the children in its schools. Mid-Trent MAT is a community made up of schools and their communities: learning together, growing together. Diversity is celebrated and inclusion at its core. We view collaboration as a strength, enabling us to learn together and grow together.

We value every child as an individual and strive to remove any barriers that may stop them in reaching their true potential. Our MAT vision and associated values mean that we are committed to opening doors to education for all learners.

We firmly believe that adapting learning to meet the needs of individuals is the key to enabling our learners to get the most out of the educational opportunities available to them, helping them to become emotionally resilient, confident and competent adults who are able to realise their limitless possibilities and make a positive contribution to their community and the world more widely.

We make every effort to include all of our learners in every activity. We have high-expectations for all, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and pride ourselves in supporting our learners in the best way that we can.

Please see further information below about how we support children with SEN in our schools. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
