As our parents know, as a school we are constantly self-evaluating and seeking ways in which we can develop and improve. Part of self-evaluation involves considering the views of our main stakeholders – crucially those of parents of course. A general questionnaire is issued to parents annually and the school consults on other matters too as applicable – such as regarding educational visits or assessment. We feel very pleased here in school that for the last few years every parent completing the general questionnaire would recommend this school to another parent. Parents may wish to know that Ofsted has an area within its website (‘Parent View’) which is dedicated to parents’ views and opinions about their children’s schools.
As a school it would be appreciated if parents could log on to this and express their opinions about this school.
As it is essential that there are balanced viewpoints on ‘Parent View’ please take a few minutes to visit the site and please remember that any feedback from parents is welcomed but ‘Parent View’ should not be a substitute for contact with staff here in school.
